This session was everything I dream of when I think of engagement sessions! Sabrina has been my friend since our freshman year of college. We met at freshman orientation and kept ending up in the same classes together!! She was also the first person I took pictures of when I was starting my photography business!! She so sweetly volunteered to stand in front of my camera while I was just starting to figure it out. She and her fiance, Bryton, also met at freshman orientation so I guess it’s safe to say the best things in her life all came from freshman orientation!! Her photographer and her fiance!!!!!! Obviously, the two most important things in life!

We had so much fun exploring Big Cottonwood Canyon, and we ended up and Silver Lake for the first part of the session. I had never been there before, so it was so fun to walk around the lake and get all the fall colors in the engagement photos along the way. There were so many oranges and reds and with the sun setting at the same time, it was like we were in a field of fire. Honestly, so breathtaking!!! To finish off the session, we drove back down to one of my favorite spots in the canyon with a great view of the mountains and LOTS of pine trees! That is one of my very favorite things about Big Cottonwood Canyon, there is so much variety!

Sabrina and Bryton, thanks so much for not only trusting me to be your photographer, but also for being such great friends! I am so happy that I get to be a part of this important moment in your lives and I absolutely cannot wait to be back in Utah for your bridals and then for your wedding! It’s going to be so beautiful, and you two are so amazing.
